Acceptable use

AI makes it easy to do a lot of things quickly, including things that damage a business's reputation. This policy sets out what will and will not be built. It forms part of the terms of service.

Work that will not be built

• — Systems that pretend an AI is a named human, or hide that automation is involved when someone asks.
• — Outreach that ignores consent, suppression lists, or the marketing and messaging laws that apply to your audience.
• — Scraping or use of personal data obtained without a lawful basis.
• — Impersonation of another business, person, or public authority.
• — Content designed to mislead, including fake reviews, invented testimonials, fabricated case studies, or false claims about results.
• — Automated decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or similar, without meaningful human review.
• — Anything unlawful, or targeting people who are protected or vulnerable in ways that exploit them.

Standards applied to every build

• — Anything customer-facing passes through human review before it is sent.
• — Automated assistants identify themselves as automated when asked.
• — Contact data is handled under your own privacy notice and the rules of the platform it came from.
• — Unsubscribe and opt-out handling is built into any outreach workflow.
• — Access to your systems is scoped to what the work needs, and returned or revoked at handover.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the data you provide was lawfully obtained, that you have the right to contact the people in it, and that you will keep human oversight on the workflows after handover. You are responsible for the compliance obligations specific to your industry and jurisdiction.

If this policy is broken

Work that falls outside this policy will be declined. If it comes to light during an engagement, the relevant work is paused immediately and, if it is not corrected, the engagement is ended. Fees already invoiced remain payable.

If you believe something built by Agenxes is being used in a way that breaks this policy, report it through the enquiry form.
